Brian's been busy working hard at the role of lumberjack. We have quite a few dead trees on our property that he's cut down and is splitting for firewood. He cuts them up then hauls out the big logs with a chain attached to his 4-wheeler.
We're hoping to mainly heat with the woodstove this winter. I love a wood fire inside when it's cold outside. It's weird to be thinking about winter in Aug. but in just a few short weeks school and football are starting and he's just not going to have the time to do this stuff.
Okay, he's going to kill me for this - but doesn't he look so cute?
