6th Anniversary

Mom & Dad so graciously offered to babysit last Saturday night so that Brian and I could go out and celebrate our 6th anniversary belatedly. (It was July 15th).
We haven't been away together, sans children in almost 2 months so this was a joyous occasion. Unfortunately we have to travel about 3 1/2 miles of extremely windy roads in order to get anywhere.... I usually do just fine if I'm driving but sitting in the passenger seat as Brian whips us around the corners doesn't do my stomach any favors.
Needless to say I got sick along the way to Twigs. Literally.
Wasn't really a great start to our date.
Then, we were both so tired that we didn't feel up to doing anything else after dinner and were back home by 9:30. Does this mean we're getting old?
